Power supply supplies power to an electrical device. It converts an alternating current to a direct current to power a computer form an electrical outlet. It has the power to regulate the voltage to the right amount to prevent computers from overheating. The power supply cord can be found plugged into the computers port. On the inside it looks like a metal box with a fan that has a few cables attached to it.
